Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at our 24/7 Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital in Wakefield. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious veterinarian with a passion for medicine and inpatient care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the continuity of care for hospitalised patients, working closely with our experienced ECC night team. This role offers a great balance of work-life balance and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examination, making care plans, and communicating with clients
  • Liaising with other vets in the team when imaging, investigative, or surgical procedures are required
  • Overseeing the handover of patient care to the night team
Requirements

This role would suit a recent graduate with an interest in medicine or a more experienced veterinarian looking for a new challenge. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
