Role Overview

We are seeking an organised individual with negotiation skills and a rural background to join our Infrastructure Projects team. The role involves acquiring property rights and environmental consents necessary to deliver utility projects, negotiating access and settling agricultural damages, and advising clients on the effect of legal notices in relation to their operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • To acquire land and land rights, environmental and planning consents required for utility projects in Rural and urban environments.
  • To value and settle agricultural and other grantor losses associated with utility works.
  • To interpret legal notices and complete options appraisals to inform client business decisions.
  • To liaise between Grantors and Client Project Teams, advising them of the implications of schemes and contributing to successful solutions.

Key Skills

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a rural environment.
  • Knowledge of environmental and planning consents.
  • Ability to interpret legal notices.

Team Overview

The Infrastructure Projects team is a single department covering the whole of the UK. We specialise in Infrastructure and Utilities clients and projects and are passionate about the high levels of service and collaborative working with our clients.
