We are a leading precision components manufacturer for the gas power turbine industry, part of a global engineering group, offering great prospects, career development, and training into the future.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrically biased multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to work on Casting Furnaces, Large Hydraulic Robots, Electric Robots, Automated systems, etc. in a Monday to Friday 3 Shift Rota, earlies, lates, and nights (no Friday nights) with 40 hours per week.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Carry out frontline maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
  2. Scheduled electrical maintenance tasks on plant and machinery, adhering to PPM / TPM Schedules to minimize downtime.
  3. Installation and commissioning of new equipment to ensure seamless integration into our production lines.
  4. Effective handover to the next shift engineer to ensure continuity and efficiency.
  5. Check function, condition, and serviceability of machinery and equipment to a predetermined schedule for Total Preventative Maintenance, Condition Monitoring, Planned Preventative Maintenance.

Requirements:

  1. Apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer – Electrical bias (Essential).
  2. Heavy manufacturing experience (Preferred).

We offer a competitive salary of £43K + bonus, and benefits to include up to 6 weeks holidays + bank holidays, bonus scheme, contributory pension, discounts schemes, etc.
