GSE Technician Role Overview

TCR UK Ltd is seeking a skilled GSE Technician to join our team at London Gatwick Airport. As a GSE Technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance, adhering to Health and Safety guidelines and the ISO 9001 framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain ground support equipment and vehicles
• Conduct regular inspections, brake tests, and report defects
• Diagnose issues and inform supervisors of required work and parts
• Accurately complete electronic job updates
• Request parts from stores in a timely manner
• Label and shelve parts correctly
• Report defective tooling immediately
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures

Requirements:

• Motor mechanics knowledge and experience
• Analytical and numerical skills, with excellent communication abilities
• Understanding of TCR procedures and systems
• Customer-focused attitude and service-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Experience:

• Operational vehicle or logistical background
• Experience in a customer-focused environment
• Vehicle maintenance sector experience

Qualifications:

• Motor Mechanics - LGV
• City & Guilds Level 3 in motor mechanics
• Forklift (desirable)
