Construction Lecturer

T-Level Programme in Construction Opportunity

Hertford Regional College is seeking a highly motivated individual to coordinate and deliver our T-Level programme in Construction. The successful candidate will receive support from the AOC and ETF to develop T-Level curriculum and delivery, working with our team of placement coordinators to support high-quality industry placements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver the T-Level programme in Construction
• Develop T-Level curriculum and delivery with support from the AOC and ETF
• Work with placement coordinators to support high-quality industry placements

Requirements:

• Experience in supporting or leading a T-levels curriculum
• Experience of working with employers and young people
• Experience of delivering training
• Experience of the built environment and industry practices
• Experience in sustainability and renewable practices (Green Skills)
• An understanding of site management practices

We are looking for candidates who have experience in, or are willing to upskill, in the following:

• Science and Building Technology
• Surveying and design for construction and the built environment
• Civil Engineering
• Building services design
• Hazardous materials analysis and surveying

This role would be ideal for an established FE teacher or an industry specialist who wishes to transition into FE teaching. If you have industry experience and a desire to teach, we can help fully support you to becoming a fully qualified teacher as well as provide industry upskilling.
