Project Director - Residential Recladding Project
People Group Limited is seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead a significant residential recladding project in South West London. The project will span 60 weeks and will involve managing a large, multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing external façade projects and will be able to take full ownership of the project, leading and developing the team while managing all phases of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the successful delivery of the project, ensuring timelines, budget, and quality standards are met.
- Manage the entire construction programme, from planning and scheduling to execution and completion.
- Oversee all health and safety compliance on site, including site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and permits to work.
- Take responsibility for logistics planning, labour, and plant resource management.
- Hold regular progress meetings with the site team, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in running external façade projects valued between £1m - £10m.
- Exceptional project leadership qualities with the ability to effectively manage large teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety management on construction sites.
- Excellent technical and financial acumen, with the ability to control project costs and maintain profitability.
