About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Strategy Director to join our EMEA team at T. Rowe Price.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust product strategy and roadmap for our EMEA markets. This will involve conducting market research and analysis, working closely with the EMEA Product Management team, and collaborating with global product colleagues to ensure alignment with TRP's global aims.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying EMEA market and channel demand drivers, current and future client needs, and providing recommendations to support the development of the EMEA product strategy & roadmap. You will also be responsible for conducting research to support the design of new products, from an EMEA perspective, including consideration of investment design parameters, naming, pricing, and appropriateness of product wrappers.

You will work in collaboration with the Product Range Management team to provide oversight and research to support EMEA Product Pricing initiatives, ensuring that EMEA based products continue to be priced in keeping with TRP's Pricing principles while meeting the needs of the EMEA market.

This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed global structure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in market research and analysis roles within the asset management industry, with demonstrable knowledge of the EMEA investment funds industry, the EMEA competitive landscape, and the regulation and business environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a robust product strategy and roadmap for EMEA markets
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify EMEA market and channel demand drivers
  • Collaborate with the EMEA Product Management team and global product colleagues to ensure alignment with TRP's global aims
  • Conduct research to support the design of new products, from an EMEA perspective
  • Work with the Product Range Management team to provide oversight and research to support EMEA Product Pricing initiatives
Requirements
  • Proven experience in market research and analysis roles within the asset management industry
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the EMEA investment funds industry, the EMEA competitive landscape, and the regulation and business environment
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed global structure
  • University graduate, CFA preferred
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a bonus scheme, pension plan, and professional development opportunities.
