Role: Associate Building Surveyor

Location: Edinburgh, Built Environment projects

Salary: Up to £73,000 per annum, plus benefits package

We are seeking a skilled Associate Building Surveyor to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our Built Environment projects, you will be responsible for managing large-scale projects, including pre and post-contract duties. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional contract experience, MRICS, and a strong understanding of QS and different types of contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage pre and post-contract duties for large-scale projects
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence
  • Collaborate with designers, contractors, and subcontractors to deliver projects to the client's expectations
  • Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and identify potential issues
  • Prepare and present project reports, including financial and contractual updates

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of consultancy experience
  • Exceptional pre and post-contract experience
  • MRICS
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects independently
  • Strong understanding of QS and different types of contracts
  • Enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent communication skills
