CAD CAM Programmer Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled CAD CAM Programmer to join our client's precision engineering company in North Nottinghamshire. As a CAD CAM Programmer, you will be responsible for programming multi-axis CNC Milling / Turning / Mill-Turn machines using offline controls such as Siemens NX / FeatureCAM software.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Programming CNC Milling / Turning / Mill-Turn machines using offline controls
  2. Proving out programs using Vericut
  3. Working from Engineering drawings / 3D models

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 3 years programming CNC Milling / Turning / Mill-Turn machines using offline controls
  2. Siemens NX would be desirable, however, other packages may be considered
  3. Understanding of Fanuc CNC controls
  4. Worked with multi-pallet, multi-axis machines
  5. Knowledge of implementing tool offset management
  6. Ability to work from engineering drawings and 3D models
  7. Previous experience in producing programs for complex components, ideally within aerospace, motorsport, nuclear, oil & gas or medical sectors
