Job Title: Telecommunications Expert with Nokia RAN Experience

 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Expert with a strong background in Nokia RAN platforms and equipment to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in architecting, designing, and implementing RAN automation solutions to streamline network operations.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Mobile Automation team to develop and implement RAN automation solutions that improve network performance and efficiency.
  • Support and enhance network orchestration capabilities by integrating RAN functionalities into the broader service orchestration architecture.
  • Contribute to the development of service orchestration strategies that ensure seamless integration of RAN services within the automated network environment.
  • Provide 3rd-line technical support for automated RAN systems, resolving complex issues and ensuring high availability of network services.
  • Develop technical documentation and training materials to support the deployment and operation of RAN automation solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including core network, IT, and field operations teams, to ensure alignment on automation goals and objectives.

 

Requirements
  1. Proven experience in Radio Access Networks (RAN) with expertise in Nokia RAN platforms and equipment.
  2. Experience with network automation tools and platforms.
  3. Familiarity with network orchestration and service orchestration concepts and technologies.
  4. Understanding of OSS/BSS systems and their integration with network elements, specifically Nokia NetAct, AMOS, and its APIs.
  5. Hands-on experience with automation scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
  6. Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
