Teaching Assistant - SEN Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a friendly and inclusive primary school in Tadley. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of a Year 4 pupil with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to the pupil, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Act as a positive role model, encouraging positive behavior and attitudes towards learning.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
  • Offer constructive feedback to teachers on pupil progress and achievement.
  • Contribute to creating a stimulating and safe learning environment.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of pupil progress.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a SEN setting.
  • SEN experience and knowledge.
  • Passion for creating interactive and engaging learning experiences for young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
