Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to join our UK Logistics team at Purolite, an Ecolab company. As a Logistics Clerk, you will play a critical role in the efficient day-to-day operation of our UK logistics office, ensuring the timely and accurate shipment of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the shipment of multiple product samples and orders to customers on a daily basis, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Liaise and arrange shipments with various courier and freight forwarder companies, including DHL, UPS, and FedEx.
- Collate and arrange required paperwork documentation to accompany shipments, including invoices, certificates of analysis, and safety data sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of samples and orders by labeling, preparing documents, and packaging correctly.
- Liaise with other departments, including R&D, QC, QA, and production teams, to advance product preparation ready for dispatch.
- Help maintain the required level of health and safety and housekeeping within the sample and order dispatch area.
- Carry out other duties as and when required, as directed by management.
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English and Mathematics, or equivalent.
- IT literate with a good level of experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of the chemical sciences would be beneficial.
- SAP experience preferred, preferably in the logistics function.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, while being a strong team player.
- IATA DG by air training desirable.
- Ability to respond quickly to demanding deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
