Job Title

An experienced financial professional is required to manage the accounting processes and lead a team of junior staff members in Malvern Wells, Worcestershire.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and mentor junior staff while contributing to the success of the department. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing financial processes, preparing year-end accounts, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare 13 sets of accounts to trial balance each year-end.
  • Self-Assessment: Maintain all personal account records and assist with report preparation.
  • Financial Process Management: Oversee various financial processes, including loans, mortgage schedules, and asset/liability management.
  • Payroll Administration: Manage payroll for up to 80 staff members, including salaried, hourly, daily, and weekly paid employees.
  • Pensions and HMRC Compliance: Submit monthly/annual pension submissions and ensure PAYE compliance.

Requirements: Strong analytical skills, ability to work accurately under pressure, and excellent problem-solving abilities are essential.

Working Conditions: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, with an annual leave allowance of 35 days.

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is estimated to be £35,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location in Malvern Wells, Worcestershire.
