At Fortrea, we are revolutionizing the development process by transforming drug and device development for partners and patients across the globe. Our clinical research organization (CRO) provides pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device customers a wide range of clinical development, patient access, and technology solutions across more than 20 therapeutic areas.

The Sales Strategy Lead will be a strategic business partner responsible for leading sales efforts toward developing and expanding new business opportunities within customer accounts. This individual will play a lead role in facilitating, inputting to, and supporting the development of operational solutions that deliver on our sales targets and clients' commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement business development strategies to drive growth and meet revenue targets.
  • Develop account plans and partnerships with key accounts.
  • Provide general intelligence on key competitors.
Sales Targets & Client Acquisition:
  • Achieve annual sales plan and sales targets for assigned accounts.
  • Sell the company's capabilities and differentiation frameworks.
  • Manage internal communication and document territory and client information as required.
  • Participate in proposal scope development as appropriate.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic qualification.
  2. Knowledge and understanding of the principles of drug discovery and drug development to strategically generate leads.
  3. Strong customer relationship management skills and commercial acumen.
  4. Strong negotiation skills: direct face-to-face negotiating experience with major clients.
  5. Demonstrated ability to acquire and grow a client base.
  6. Demonstrated skills in leadership, strategic selling, negotiating, presentation, and financial/business acumen.
  7. Strong organizational agility and demonstrated drive for results.
  8. Demonstrated executive presence and proven skill to influence at all levels of the organization.
  9. Ability to work collaboratively within a matrixed team environment.
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year.
