Veterinary Surgeon Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated veterinary surgeon to join our team at GLG Vets in Bordon, Hampshire. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.

Working Hours: 40 hours over 5 days per week, Monday – Friday, plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
Salary: Up to £69,300 DOE plus £5,000 Welcome Bonus and up to £5,000 Relocation Allowance
