Job Title: Academic Manager for Modern Languages

International House London is seeking an experienced Academic Manager to lead the Modern Languages department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and support services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement academic strategies to enhance the department's reputation and student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Modern Languages to foster academic leadership and innovation.
  • Manage course delivery, timetabling, and provide support and guidance to staff and learners.
  • Implement all academic requirements set by regulatory bodies and provide essential educational and administrative support.
Requirements:
  • C1 level of English and experience in ELT or Modern Languages.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to organise and manage workloads effectively.
  • Confidence in taking initiative and working autonomously, with resilience in completing complex tasks.
  • Undergraduate degree and a level 7 teaching qualification, such as the Cambridge Delta or Trinity College Diploma in TESOL.
