Seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites. This role requires ensuring high standards and compliance with Health and Safety policy, working within a 40-hour week Monday to Friday, with one week on call every four.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and ensure necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Respond promptly and positively to service requests from the Helpdesk and assess requirements to carry out repairs as necessary.
  • Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs.
  • Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and advise line manager of findings.
  • Ensure compliance documentation is always completed and up to date.
  • Advise on-site customer of any repair and maintenance issues likely to affect site operations.
  • Carry out surveys and complete reports as required.
  • Comply with company Health and Safety policy.
  • Participate in 24/7 call out rota (1 week in every 4).

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • 3 Phase Electrics and its applications.
  • Achieve PPM schedule within agreed timescales.
  • Respond to service call requests within agreed timescales.
  • Full and valid driving licence and full use of own motor vehicle.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to work effectively in a team environment. A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, is available for this role.
