About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Yorkshire Housing. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of our tenants' homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake electrical repairs and alterations to existing fittings and fixtures, rewiring partial or full properties, including inspection, testing, and provision of certification and reporting on the condition of electrical components and equipment.
  • Use your own personal initiative to problem-solve any smaller issues on-site, while working as a key player in a bigger team.
  • Work closely with other trades, administrators, and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of electrical services.
  • Be the face of Yorkshire Housing to many of our tenants, providing respectful, warm, and professional communication.

Requirements

  • City & Guilds Level 3 (or recognised equivalent qualification), City & Guilds 2365 (17th edition), NVQ in Electro technical Services & AM2 Certification.
  • Valid UK driving licence, as this is a mobile role requiring travel around Yorkshire.
