Delivery Courier

Pertemps is delighted to support Royal Mail in recruiting for the position of Delivery Courier across Scotland.

The salary for this role is approximately £16,580 per annum, based on an hourly rate of £16.58.

This temporary opportunity will commence during the peak festive period.

Key responsibilities include sorting and collecting post and parcels at a local delivery office, using a hand-held device to capture customer signatures, and delivering items on foot or by vehicle. The role requires excellent time management skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to safe driving practices. You will need to work outdoors in various weather conditions, often walking 8 miles per day, carrying a post bag, and pushing/pulling a trolley. A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points is essential, although previous experience is not mandatory.

Working 5 days out of 7, including potential weekend shifts, is required. This is an ideal opportunity for those seeking temporary employment during the festive season.
