About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Assessor to join our team at Aspect Healthcare. As a Disability Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of individuals with a range of physical and mental health conditions, with the goal of determining their eligibility for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals with diverse health conditions, gathering information on how their disabilities impact their daily lives.
- Interpret medical evidence and compile detailed reports to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
- Work in an office-style environment, completing assessments over the phone, via video, or in-person.
Requirements:
- NMC registration is required.
- At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience, with UK experience being essential.
- Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and possess strong IT competency.
