At Anaplan, we are seeking a highly experienced Product Security Director to lead our company's development and implementation of a comprehensive product security strategy. This is a critical role that requires a strong technical background in application security, security architecture, data security, and identity & access management.
The successful candidate will oversee critical cybersecurity areas protecting Anaplan, including application security, infrastructure security, data security, and identity & access management. They will also manage and mentor a team of security engineers and analysts, providing guidance and direction for their professional growth.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and security principles, particularly in AWS, GCP, and Azure environments. They will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively influence across a wide variety of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive product security strategy.
- Oversee critical cybersecurity areas protecting Anaplan.
- Manage and mentor a team of security engineers and analysts.
- Define strategic direction, set objectives, and structure the organization and the work in a way that improves the team's impact.
- Build strong relationships within the product, engineering, and operations teams to implement the appropriate security controls.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels about the security posture of products and the importance of product security.
- Develop and oversee the development and enforcement of security standards based on industry-standard best practices.
- Partner closely with executive leadership to ensure that all applications and platforms are developed with security in mind.
- Define and utilize metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the program.
- Support continued compliance with required certification and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in product/platform security, with a proven track record of leadership in designing, implementing, and managing security programs for hybrid environments at SaaS companies.
- Strong technical background in application security, security architecture, data security, and identity & access management.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and security principles, particularly in AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively influence across a wide variety of stakeholders.
