Senior Care Assistant Job Opportunity

An exciting new role has arisen for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our exceptional care home team in the Broomhill, Glasgow area. As a key member of our team, you will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

About the Role

This care home offers a wide range of services to its patients, including nursing care, palliative care, and respite care. As a Senior Care Assistant, your key duties will include:

  • Delivering high-quality care and providing support and guidance to the care team, leading by example
  • Reviewing and updating care plans to ensure they meet residents' needs and wishes
  • Planning and reviewing staff rotas to ensure care support is available at all times
  • Promoting high standards of care by ensuring exceptional care duties are delivered and all staff are supervised appropriately
  • Ensuring all areas across the Care Home are kept clean, tidy, and pleasant for all residents and family members
  • Communicating professionally and warmly with visitors, family members, and other healthcare professionals
  • Promoting the Home in a professional manner and raising awareness of the Home within the local community

The successful Senior Care Assistant will receive an excellent salary of £11.15 per hour and the annual salary is £19,133.40 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 36 hours a week on Night Shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive:
