Role Overview

As an Independent School Athletics Director, you will play a key role in shaping the athletic program at our esteemed independent girls' prep school. This is an exceptional opportunity for a sports leader to join our team and contribute to the success of our students.

The successful candidate will possess QTS, a degree in a relevant subject area, and extensive experience in teaching sport to the lower school age range. A background in coaching or umpiring Netball would be highly beneficial, as we strive to promote this popular sport among our students.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To lead and manage the athletic program for the lower school
  • To develop and implement a comprehensive athletic strategy that aligns with the school's values and objectives
  • To work closely with colleagues to provide high-quality athletic education and support student development

Key Requirements:

  • QTS and a degree in a relevant subject area
  • Experience in teaching sport to the lower school age range
  • Ability to coach or umpire Netball
