**Job Title:** Advanced Clinical Practitioner

The Royal Stoke Hospital is seeking a highly skilled **Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP)** to join our Urgent Care team.

This exciting opportunity allows you to work in an Urgent Treatment Centre, supporting clinical care and enhancing the capacity and capability of our multi-professional teams.

About the Role:

  • You will support clinical teams as a shift lead, ensuring effective patient care delivery.
  • Carry out consultations with patients, taking comprehensive patient histories and making informed treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe medication or refer patients to specialist services when necessary.
  • Provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior staff, promoting their growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Shift lead responsibilities
  • Patient consultations and history-taking
  • Treatment decision-making and prescription
  • Mentorship and guidance for junior staff

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist qualification
  • Masters Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
  • Clinical skills qualification at degree level
  • Independent prescriber status
  • Evidence of completion of study in minor illness, injury, paediatric minor illness, or paediatric minor injury
