We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our Family Hubs Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, warm, and stimulating environment for children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of engaging play activities for children, tailored to their age, stage of development, ability, and cultural background.
  • Observing, assessing, and reviewing individual developmental milestones, planning next steps, and ensuring records are kept up to date and shared with families.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-8 in a relevant environment or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Experience of record keeping.
