About This Role
As a skilled Paralegal within our Glasgow team, you will be responsible for handling RTA claims, litigated liability disputes, credit hire and damage claims. Your experience in dealing with Scottish civil litigation claims at Simple Procedure and Ordinary Cause level will be highly valued.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing evidence and setting case strategies, taking into account technical and commercial considerations.
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements and negotiating claims via telephone.
  • Effective file management, including accurate billing, updating Management Information and ensuring KPI compliance.
  • Compliance with DAC Beachcroft protocols on billing and credit control, demonstrating strong financial management skills.
  • Supporting marketing and business development activities within the team, where applicable.
  • Broadening your knowledge of DAC Beachcroft's services.
  • Establishing effective internal and external networks.
  • Maintaining confidentiality in line with the firm's data security protocols.


Requirements
  • A paralegal qualification or degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Be change-oriented with a positive and flexible approach to implementing new initiatives.
  • Demonstrate alignment with the Firm's Cultural Principles: Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive.


Salary Details
We are offering a competitive salary, estimated to be around £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
