Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Enforcement Officer to join our team at Kingdom Services Group Ltd. As an Environmental Enforcement Officer, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and enforcing environmental issues, anti-social behaviour, and relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Environmental Inspections: Conduct regular foot patrols, inspect public areas, identify contraventions, and issue Fixed Penalty Notices (FPN) using a handheld terminal or manual systems.
  • Record Keeping and Evidence Management: Maintain accurate records of activities and evidence for court proceedings.
  • Support Prosecutions: Support prosecutions by attending court when required.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Stay knowledgeable about relevant legislation (e.g., Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2016, Environmental Protection Act 1990).
  • Evidence Management: Synchronize FPN and photographic evidence from handheld terminals or digital cameras.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other appropriate responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Express information clearly and concisely to ensure understanding.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to change and work effectively in various situations and weather conditions.
  • Learning and Development: Participate in our training course to gain insight into daily duties, current legislation, communication, and interaction aspects of the role, earning a recognized qualification in environmental awareness.
