Job Responsibilities:
  • Issue and verify letters of credit and guarantees
  • Process payments under confirmed and unconfirmed Letters of credit
  • Foster strong relationships with corresponding banks to resolve issues
  • Establish RMA keys with other banks
  • Manage loan booking and administration
  • Process clean Reimbursement
  • Process payment under LC discounting
  • Reconcile LC cash collateral accounts and Suspense accounts
  • Process Bill for collection payment and send advisories to clients
  • Review and investigate Nostro reconciliation to clear outstanding items
  • Advise debit advices to clients after payments
  • Understand Letters of credit and LC amendments
  • Advise letters of credit
  • Verify documents
  • Handle payments' queries and investigations from clients and correspondent banks
  • Ensure adherence to Anti-Money Laundering procedures at all times
  • Authorize payments
  • Process and authorize LC Refinances
  • Perform other assigned responsibilities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient use of Excel and MS-word
  • Strong time management
  • Good team player
  • Knowledge of SWIFT
  • Understanding of UCP600
  • Accuracy and efficiency
  • Analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Attention to details
  • Solid knowledge of Letters of credit
  • Possession of a first degree
  • CDCS qualification is an added advantage
