We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Placement Student - Analysis Lead Design and Validation to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Daventry. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world engineering problems, develop your skills, and contribute to the design and validation of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative solutions to engineering problems using simulation tools and CREO CAD software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product reliability and quality.
  • Utilize engineering tools such as Virtual Reality to develop and test designs.
  • Provide clear direction to stakeholders through presentations and documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of global products and work collaboratively with international teams.

Requirements:

  • Studying towards a STEM degree.
  • Methodical problem-solving mindset with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to learn and develop.
  • Experience with CAE tools is beneficial but not essential.
