Job Title: Internal Auditor

Role Summary

The Internal Auditor will support the Compliance Manager to provide senior leaders and governing bodies of the organization with an objective source of information regarding the following:

  • The organization's risks
  • Operational Effectiveness
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Within this role, you will consider issues such as the organization's reputation, operational efficiency, legislative requirements, impact on the environment, and the way it treats its employees.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Compliance Manager to plan and decide the scope for Audit projects.

Deliver against the audit goals set.

Ensure all risk assessments and audit tests are conducted in the most proficient way possible.

Build, maintain, and sustain working relations with relevant stakeholders internally and externally.

Present findings and meaningful conclusions to relevant stakeholders.

Identify trends and patterns and develop reports for stakeholders to make more informed decisions.

Build reporting requirements and work with the data team to create Power BI reports.

Perform walkthroughs, process notes, controls mapping with a view to highlighting any weaknesses and improvements around compliance, governance, risk management, or process improvement.

Align yourself to the company's social and environmental mission and champion any actions that you can directly impact at all times.

Complete audits to meet the expectations and requirements set by FatFace.

Stock loss and cash investigations.

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Experience in using flow charting software.

Flexibility to travel on a regular basis, with potential for wider travel including occasional international assignments.

Competencies

Able to take a holistic view.

Ability to deliver audits to a high standard in a dynamic environment, possessing an analytical mindset, great project management skills, efficient problem-solving skills, and clear communication.
