About the Job

We are currently seeking a Strategic Data Analyst Manager to join our team at BSW Timber Ltd. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to develop and deliver Business Intelligence solutions that meet the ongoing business needs of our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using Cognos and other tools;
  • Providing data analysis and insights to inform business decisions;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business requirements;
  • Providing training and guidance to users on data analysis and visualization tools;
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data analysis and Business Intelligence development;
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, preferably SQL Server;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel to our sites across the UK;
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We also offer a range of benefits, including a competitive pension scheme, life assurance policy, and 25 days annual leave.
