Job Title: Recovery Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team in Shrewsbury. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group.

About the Role

Our Recovery Workers work closely with clients to help them determine their goals, ambitions, and passions, and develop a personalized treatment plan to support their recovery. This is an integral role within our organization, and you will be responsible for managing an active caseload of clients, building meaningful relationships, and providing interventions for individuals with involvement in the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with clients to develop and implement recovery plans
  • Provide interventions and support to clients with complex needs
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Manage an active caseload of clients, prioritizing their needs and providing timely support
  • Work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and inclusive team culture
Requirements
  • ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working in a health, social care, or related setting
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using IT and digital media
  • Organized and able to manage time effectively
