In this role, you'll provide pre and post-contract/commercial management advice, partnering with our customers. A typical day may involve:

  • Strategic review of commercial models and contracts
  • Contract administration
  • Reviewing and advising on commercial impacts of contract matters
  • Adjudicating and providing advice on contractual entitlements
  • Managing Change and Risk through EWN's and CE's
  • Approving key Subcontracts and producing project reports
  • Reviewing and advising on procurement strategies and supply chain matters
  • Reviewing subcontract tender reports and processing Applications for Payment
  • Attending/leading Commercial/Contract meetings
  • Complying with Quality Management Systems, processes, and procedures

About You

What we're looking for:

  • Proven background working on UK projects, with a preference for Aviation
  • Experience with NEC3/4 contracts
  • Experience working with corporate risk and audit functions
  • Experience with cost verification, internal/external audit, and financial reviews on significant infrastructure and construction projects
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Methodical approach to work
  • Good organizational skills and adaptability
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, finance, and numeracy management skills
  • Sound ICT skills, with proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with data analysis tools like Power BI
  • Experience with contract management and administration systems
  • Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements
  • Ability to work as part of a team or lead a team, depending on level

Qualifications:

  • MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or working towards
