Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading pharmaceutical and medical device business to hire a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support their UK operations.

As a key member of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating high-tech pharmaceutical manufacturing systems to support the production of advanced pharmaceutical products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance engineering, with experience in operating cyclotrons or a similar high-tech equipment. Alternatively, you may have an engineering/maintenance background with a desire to learn about advanced equipment.

The role will be based on core day hours, with select periods of being on call and overtime available for extra hours worked. A strong training and development plan will be in place from day one.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and operating high-tech pharmaceutical manufacturing systems
  • Supporting the production of advanced pharmaceutical products
  • Working closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure smooth operations
  • Providing proactive and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime

Requirements include:

  • Experience in maintenance engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles
  • Ability to work in a small team and be hands-on and flexible
  • Understanding of good manufacturing practice (GMP) and regulated environments
