About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forensics Consultant to join our team at Control Risks. As a key member of our Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) team, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and consultative solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collect and Preserve Digital Data: Utilize industry-standard tools and techniques to collect and preserve digital data, ensuring the integrity and authenticity of evidence.
  2. Forensic Analysis and Cyber Security Services: Assist our clients in providing forensic analysis and cyber security services, including the preservation of digital data, forensic analysis of digital evidence, and reporting.
  3. Support Investigation Teams: Collaborate with our Investigation teams across all regions to provide expert support and guidance in the investigation of data breaches and security incidents.
  4. Deliver High-Quality Results: Provide high-quality deliverables to our clients in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service.
  5. Expert Testimony: Provide expert testimony in court as and when required, utilizing your expertise to provide clear and concise explanations of complex technical concepts.
  6. Stay Up-to-Date: Stay current with the latest digital forensic techniques, tools, and trends, ensuring that you remain at the forefront of your field.
  7. International Travel: Be available for international travel up to 25% of the time, as required by the role.
Requirements
  1. Educational Background: Educated to BSc/MSc (or equivalent) in Computer Forensics or a related field.
  2. Forensic Accreditation: Hold forensic accreditation, such as EnCE, ACE, or GCFE.
  3. Previous Experience: Previous internship or work experience in a DFIR-related role is highly desirable.
