Theatre Band 7 Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior theatre practitioner to join our theatre Band 7 leadership team at Barts Health NHS Trust. This role will provide leadership to the theatre scrub team and require significant theatre scrub experience in either or both endovascular and cardiac surgery.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for delivering high-quality nursing care, and the ability to lead on improvements across the theatre environment. They will be expected to work collaboratively with the team to provide safe, efficient, and timely individualized care in line with local and national targets.

As part of our team, you will have access to clinical and leadership courses available through the Trust and with our partner education institutions.
Main Duties of the Job
- Skilled clinical practitioner with understanding and experience of delivering and leading on patient safety and governance in the theatre environment.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership qualities and embrace our Trust WeCare values, whilst being an advocate for delivering outstanding care to our patients and meeting the priorities of both our patients and staff.
- Deliver high quality in all aspects of nursing care, and demonstrate transformational skills in order to drive improvements in both practice and learning.
