International Service Engineer

Job Title: International Service Engineer - Automation Specialist

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £35,000 to £38,000 per annum + Excellent benefits package

We are seeking an outstanding engineer to join our international service team at Omega Resource Group. The position involves setting and testing automation machinery prior to despatch, commissioning in customer's overseas factories, and training operator and maintenance personnel in the use of their equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting and testing of the client's full range of equipment
• Final testing and assembly of machinery in preparation for inspection and despatch
• Installation and commissioning of equipment
• Training of customer's staff at various levels at both the client's and customer's overseas premises
• Report writing and recommendations following all visits
• Liaise with Sales, Production, and Design
• Extensive worldwide travel, including weekend work and travel where required

Requirements:

• To ensure that all relevant machine documentation is completed accurately
• To identify opportunities for process, productivity, and quality improvements by highlighting issues to management
• To actively participate in improvement projects as required
