Job Title: Energy Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Lawyer to join our team at Elevate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for negotiating electricity agreements and providing legal counsel to our clients in the datacenter industry.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a global IT company and contribute to the growth of their datacenter business. You will be working closely with mid-level technical project managers, local law firms, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of electricity infrastructure transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate electricity connection agreements with utilities to serve datacenters
  • Analyze and negotiate related market-specific agreements, such as electricity infrastructure management agreements and electricity supply agreements
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on electricity transactions involving large customers in the EU or UK
  • Manage client relationships and work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience as an attorney
  • Solid experience with legal contract drafting, negotiating contracts, and EU or UK electricity transactions involving large customers
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
