We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to join Sonderwell in Andover, Hampshire. Our client is a young boy who lives at home with his family and dog. We are looking for a support worker with experience in Cerebral Palsy and Brain Injury. Due to the location of the client and responsibilities, we are looking for a support worker who can drive and has access to their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
  • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
  • To be able to deal with challenging behaviours.
  • Opportunities for professional development and training.

Training & Background Checks:

  • An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client.
  • Supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
