Business Overview

Hudson Shribman is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead our sales and technical functions in the UK and Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial activities in good coordination with other departments.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement commercial strategies to support sales targets
* Manage technical and sales representatives to achieve business objectives
* Create a sustainable business platform with a shared vision for the business and customers
* Work closely with the portfolio team to create, evaluate, and select projects
* Contribute to the development of the regional strategy
* Implement strategic directions and contribute to business strategies for short and long-term sustainable growth
* Identify and develop new business opportunities
* Develop and execute sales effectiveness programs
* Lead the work to achieve sales and profit budgets
* Propose new projects or investments that fit the local market's needs
* Ensure the transfer of technical and marketing knowledge

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or Agricultural related fields
* MBA desirable
* Knowledge of the agricultural/horticultural markets
* Experience in a commercial environment within the agrichemicals/agrochemicals industry
* Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
* High level of commercial acumen
* Team management
* Collaborative
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* Ability to effectively manage and maintain peer and business relationships
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Proactive and enthusiastic individual with a self-driven and motivated attitude
