As a hardware engineer, you will play a critical role in creating high-performance products that support the future of aviation training and safety. You will demonstrate accountability by owning your objectives from start to finish, ensuring high-quality outcomes that prioritize customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with proven experience in hardware engineering, particularly in mechanical and electrical systems development.

**Salary and Benefits**

**Job Description**

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead or contribute to the design and development of mechanical and electrical hardware solutions for flight simulators, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Drive the development of innovative hardware capabilities, focusing on quality, performance, and reliability in aerospace environments.
  • Oversee or support the creation of detailed technical specifications, schematics, and models for mechanical and electrical systems.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in hardware engineering, particularly in mechanical and electrical systems development.
  • Expertise in CAD tools and electrical design software for creating detailed technical drawings and models.

Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
