Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join our team at Hays Business Support. As a Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including sales orders, work orders, and invoices.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure excellent customer service and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports to stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including CRM and accounting packages.
