Job Summary

The Scenic Supervisor is a key member of the Encore Global team, responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of scenic projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership
    • Directly manage the day-to-day operations of the scenic department, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Cultivate good working relationships between departments, promoting a culture of collaboration and open communication.
    • Provide training and development opportunities for team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Scenic Delivery
    • Design and create scenic items according to client specifications, ensuring high-quality results and timely delivery.
    • Monitor inventory levels, maximizing availability and utilization for high-demand products.
    • Ensure accurate physical inventory results and quality control standards are met.
    • Quoting for jobs and events, and ensuring purchase orders and invoices are processed accordingly.
  • Customer Service
    • Deliver exceptional customer service, working closely with internal customers to evaluate service levels and ensure all expectations are met.
    • Liaise with clients to source scenic details, identifying exceptional requirements and ensuring seamless execution.
Requirements
  • Sound knowledge of construction and good spatial awareness.
  • Profound knowledge of drawing programs and planning tools (VectorWorks/CAD).
  • Previous supervisory/management experience is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
