Job OverviewAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our projects. You will ensure that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement: Manage procurement processes, including the evaluation of tenders and the negotiation of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations, and final accounts, ensuring projects remain on budget.
- Contract Management: Administer contracts and manage variations to the contract, ensuring that any changes are financially justified and documented.
- Project Monitoring: Work closely with project teams to monitor project progress and control costs, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Liaison: Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify potential financial risks and provide advice on mitigation strategies.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Health, Rail, or Education sectors.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Diverse Projects: Work on a variety of projects across the Health, Rail, and Education sectors, ranging from £500k to £10 million.
- Competitive Package: Up to £70,000 salary and benefits package, including car allowance and pension.
