We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety and Fire Manager to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our Compliance, Fire and Health and Safety Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation, planning and development of our Health, Safety and Fire Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day health, safety and fire activities across the Trust, ensuring compliance with nationally agreed and recognised standards.
  • Provide specialist health and safety advice to staff and management, and lead on the development and implementation of health, safety and fire policies and plans.
  • Work closely with Directorates Trustwide to ensure effective health, safety and fire management, and collaborate with contractors to ensure adherence to health, safety and fire regulations.
  • Assist in the investigation of RIDDOR reportable incidents, provide advice and support to staff, and facilitate learning throughout the organisation.
  • Develop, maintain and deliver health, safety and fire training, and provide reports, statistics and information as required.
