Job Title: Ambitious KS2 Teacher

About the Role:
Wayman Learning Trust is seeking an exceptional KS2 teacher to join our dedicated team. As a class teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
• Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document
• Meet the expectations set out in the Teachers' Standards
• Take responsibility for teaching a class in order to promote effective teaching and learning for the pupils within the framework provided by the DfE, the Local Authority and the Governing Body, and with regard to all statutory requirements
• Establish a purposeful learning environment in which diversity is valued, where pupils feel secure and confident, and where opportunities to maximise teaching and learning are promoted Duties and responsibilities Teaching
• Plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school's plans, curriculum and schemes of work
• Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment
• Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils including those with SEND
• Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
• Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
• Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
• Participate in arrangements for preparing pupils for external tests
