Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Actuarial Leader to join our team at Corebridge Financial, Inc. This role will be responsible for providing high-quality actuarial support to our Chief Actuary, focusing on financial modeling and governance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Provide in-depth analysis of CICB's Economic Balance Sheet, including Best Estimate Liability and Risk Margin attribution. Explain periodic changes and sensitivities to stakeholders.
  • Statutory Financial Statement Analysis: Develop understanding and communicate earnings drivers for CICB lines of business through Bermuda Statutory Financial Statement analysis.
  • Model Governance and Controls: Develop and execute strong governance and controls, including Model Owner responsibilities and participation in Pricing & Underwriting Committee meetings.
  • Assumption Review and Unlocking: Lead CICB's annual assumption review and unlocking process.
  • Special Projects: Participate in analysis of assuming new flow business and inforce blocks of business to CICB, as well as other special projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Understanding of key profit drivers for various products and knowledge of statutory and GAAP accounting.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills for interacting with business partners and business unit actuaries.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible actuarial experience, with cross-functional experience desired.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaborative teams and working with senior management.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
