Our client, a reputable automotive service provider, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team in Norwich. As a key member of the service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of motor vehicles to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosis and Repair: Accurately and skilfully undertake diagnosis, repairs, and servicing of motor vehicles to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
- Technical Knowledge: Ensure full understanding of the latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them.
- Customer Interaction: Meet with customers to identify and clearly understand problems as and when required.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other departments in the retailer to facilitate the servicing and repair of vehicles.
- Quality Control: Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair.
- Health and Safety: Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines.
- Customer Satisfaction: Fulfil all tasks to the customer's complete satisfaction.
- Process Efficiency: Help the retailer achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency.
Requirements:
- Diagnostic Skills: Diagnose faults using manufacturer and generic electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Inspection and Repair: Carry out inspections to VOSA standards, service, maintain, and repair vehicles.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete all paperwork in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Teamwork: Work as a team with colleagues to ensure vehicle jobs are completed to the required time and standards.
- Initiative: Work on your own initiative as well.
