About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Anatomical Pathology Technologist to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Deliver a full range of mortuary activities, including admission, identification, and safe storage of deceased bodies for post mortem examination.
  2. Assist pathologists with post mortem examinations, including high-risk cases, and work out of hours on forensic cases at Royal Stoke Hospital as required.
  3. Supervise, coordinate, and monitor the performance of mortuary staff across Leighton and Macclesfield mortuaries, ensuring adherence to service procedures and protocols.
