Reception Manager Assistant Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Reception Manager to join our team at the Royal Garden Hotel. As a key member of the Reception team, you will provide exceptional support to the Reception Manager, lead and support the Front Desk Agents, and ensure all SOPs and daily tasks are covered.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Reception Manager in the daily running of the Reception team, including Supervisors and Receptionists.
- Ensure the hotel Lobby is manned at all times, with guests acknowledged and greeted with a smile and eye contact.
- Deal with guests' enquiries, requests, and complaints in an efficient and professional manner.
- Assist Supervisors in effective management of their tasks, including coordinating the implementation of new procedures.
- Support the Front Desk Agents in their training and tasks, ensuring they develop according to their Learning and Development plans.
- Manage and assist the team with incoming telephone calls, monitoring the quality of telephone interactions to ensure a high standard of service.
- Ensure consistency in service between Day and Night shifts through efficient handovers and open channels of communication with fellow managers.
- Assist the Night team by covering the Night Manager role when required.
Requirements
- Experience with Opera PMS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under deadline pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
